Emirates will be offering its premium economy product on four U.S. routes by July.

The Gulf airline introduced premium economy to the U.S. on May 1 on its flights between Dubai and New York JFK and has since begun offering the product on flights between Dubai and San Francisco.

The introductions have been in conjunction with Emirates' introduction of newly retrofitted Airbus A380 aircraft in those markets.

Retrofitted A380s will begin operating between Dubai and Houston Bush Intercontinental in June and between Dubai and Los Angeles in July.

The premium economy cabins seat 56 people and offer seats with a robust 40 inches of space between rows and a seat width of 19.5 inches. The seats can recline up to 8 inches and have 13.5-inch seatback entertainment screens. They also offer six-way adjustable headrests, as well as leg rests.

Flyers will be offered a service offering that is elevated from economy cabins, including a complimentary drinks menu and regionally inspired food menus that change monthly.
